April’s #BRUNCHCLUB was held at Marua Road Cafe, in Ellerslie. We braved the storm and came together for a delicious meal. The coffee was great, and all of it was topped with adorable latte art. The creativity was much appreciated, and of course we couldn’t stop taking photos of it all.
Sometimes cafes find it difficult to cater for groups, but Marua Road Cafe did really well. It was full the whole time we were there, and yet all of our meals came out really quickly.
I had a wonderful morning with other @nzbloggers at this months #brunchclub 👏🏻 We went to @maruaroadcafe and had a great time checking out their coffees, eating delicious food and chatting about the blogging world! Check out my vegetarian brunch – Portobello rosti stack with both red and green pesto🌱 . . . #NZBloggers #Brunch #BrunchClubNZ #MaruaRoadCafe #Bloggers #Community #Portobello #Mushrooms #Rosti #RostiStack #Pesto #Vegetarian #InstaFood #Foodie #TwelveBelles #Blog #SelfCare
Some of the items on the menu were quite inventive – below is Laura’s fried chicken Eggs Benedict! Definitely not something I’ve seen before, and from the sounds of things it tasted great.
It was a slightly smaller group this month, which meant we were able to have a conversation about our blogging experiences. Some members of the group have been blogging for over 5 years, and others have been only at it for a few months. It was a nice opportunity to reflect on our highs and lows, and offer advice to other bloggers.
The attendees this month were:
Lena – Lena Talks
Laura – Bitch Peas & Laura Laura Blog
Angela – A Style Collector
Rebecca – Once Upon an Egg
Isobell – Twelve Belles
Nishu – Lips n Berries Beauty Blog
Aishwarya – That Trip-e Urban Life
Alex – Hungry Auckland
Thanks everyone who came and made it such a nice brunch, and thanks to Marua Road Cafe for hosting us. Until next time!
