With WordPress.org you can install plugins that takeaway the manual process of backing up your blog. Below you’ll find the manual process but also a few plugins that we recommend and use that also take care of blog backups.

Manually:

  1. Sign in to your WordPress website
  2. Head to the Tools section, then to Export
  3. Select (or keep selected) All Content and then press the Download Export File button

Plugins:

  • iThemes Security
  • BackWPup
  • VaultPress
  • BackUpBuddy
